Pheasants Open Exhibition Play Next Week

Sioux Falls, SD-It may not feel like it yet, but Pheasants baseball is here and sunnier days are ahead! Players report this weekend to Sioux Falls and practice beings on Saturday. The defending North Division champion Pheasants return 15 players from last year's record setting club.
Sioux Falls will open exhibition play next week when they host the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Monday, May 2nd and Tuesday, May 3rd at Sioux Falls Stadium. Game times are 6:05 PM each night and the games are FREE and open to the public. Concessions will be available at the game as well.
The Pheasants will resume exhibition play on Friday in Huron, SD when they host the Sioux City Explorers at 6 PM. The Pheasants will then travel to Yankton, SD on Saturday for a 2 PM afternoon game against Sioux City. Sioux Falls will close out exhibition play with a two-game series in Fargo on May 8th and 9th.
The regular season begins Thursday, May 12th in St. Paul as the Pheasants begin a four-game road trip. The home opener is set for Monday, May 16th against Winnipeg at 7:05 PM at Sioux Falls Stadium. Single game tickets will go on sale Monday, May 2nd at 10 AM at the Sioux Falls Stadium Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations.
