Wingnuts Announce 2011 Exhibition Schedule

WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Wingnuts announced their 2011 exhibition schedule on Tuesday.
The five-game schedule begins Monday, May 2nd when the Wingnuts take on Newman University at 7:05 p.m. The game will be played at Wichita State University's Eck Stadium-Home of Tyler Field. Tickets for the event are just $7.00 general admission and can be purchased at the gate the night of the event.
On Tuesday, May 3rd, the Wingnuts travel north to take on Emporia State University. First pitch at Glennen Field is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
The Wingnuts get their first look at newly renovated Lawrence-Dumont Stadium on Thursday, May 5th when they host the rival Kansas City T-Bones at 12:05 p.m. The Wingnuts and T-Bones battle again the following night at 7:05 p.m. at Community America Ballpark in Kansas City.
Pre-season action finishes Tuesday, May 10th when the Wingnuts host the Sioux City Explorers at 7:05 p.m.
Tickets for the games at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium on May 5th and May 10th are $7.00 general admission at the gate. Fans can also purchase tickets to those contests, as well as the May 2nd match at Eck Stadium-Home of Tyler Field, at the Wingnuts' main office located at 300 S. Sycamore St.

The Wingnuts open the 2011 season on May 12th at Amarillo. Wichita's 2011 home opener is Friday, May 20th versus the El Paso Diablos. Season tickets, mini packs, and group packages are on sale now.
