FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27 - PHANTOMS vs. BRIDGEPORT SOUND TIGERS - 7:05, WACHOVIA SPECTRUM
The Phantoms and Bridgeport Sound Tigers (New York Islanders) meet on Friday for the seventh time this season. Bridgeport has taken four of the six games thus far, with one more game remaining in March. The Sound Tigers start off the week ranked third in the East Division with a record of 33-17-3-4 for 73 points. Bridgeport is ahead of the Phantoms by ten points. Mike Iggulden is the team's leading scorer with 21 goals and 31 assists for 52 points. Rookie goalie Nathan Lawson is second in the league with a 1.79 goals-against average.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28 - PHANTOMS vs. PROVIDENCE BRUINS- 7:05, WACHOVIA SPECTRUM
The Providence Bruins (Boston Bruins) take on the Phantoms on Saturday for the second and final time this season. Providence is currently ranked first in the Atlantic Division with a record of 33-21-2-1 for 69 points. Providence's leading scorer is defenseman Johnny Boychuck, who has 14 goals and 33 assists for 47 points. Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask has a 1.94 goals-against average on the season.
PHANTOMS TO WEAR THIRD SPECIALTY JERSEY THIS FRIDAY
This Friday night, the Phantoms will debut their third specialty jersey of the season. It is themed on the Spectrum and will be worn several times between now and the end of the season. Photos will be available online at Phantomshockey.com later this week.
DOLLAR DOGS, KIDS SKATE THIS SATURDAY
On Saturday night, the Phantoms will hold their annual Kids Skate With the Players after the game against Providence. Kids 14 and under are invited to skate with the Phantoms after the game. Participants must bring their own skates, and parents should sign their kids up early at the information booth behind Section 201 because space is limited. Saturday is also a Dollar Dog Night, so bring your appetites!

TRANSACTIONS
Jonathon Kalinski and Josh Gratton were both returned to the Phantoms on Monday. Both players are returning from long-term injuries and could play for the Phantoms this weekend. Ryan Parent, Claude Giroux and Darroll Powe remain with the Flyers.
MICELI INDUCTED INTO PHANTOMS HALL OF FAME
Longtime Phantoms COO Frank Miceli was inducted into the Philadelphia Phantoms Hall of Fame last weekend in a pregame ceremony. Miceli will be joined by Peter White in a second ceremony on April 5. Miceli is the sixth member, joining Bill Barber, Frank Bialowas, Neil Little, John Stevens and Bob Clarke.

MAROON NOMINATED FOR REEBOK/AHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
The Phantoms nominated Patrick Maroon for Player of the Week consideration this week. Maroon had four goals on the week to pace the Phantoms - one against Hamilton last Monday, two against Portland on Friday and one at Hershey on Saturday.
NEWS AND NOTES
The Phantoms have allowed just four power play goals in their last 61 shorthanded situations, a kill rate of 93.4 percent. It's over the span of their last 12 games... Phantoms players will make a total of 11 reading appearances over the next week at area schools in support of the start of National Reading Month.
PHANTOMS HOCKEY ON THE INTERNET The Phantoms have joined with the rest of the American Hockey League in forming AHL Live, a brand-new way to catch Phantoms hockey on the Internet. Once again this year, all Phantoms games, home and away, can be viewed online at www.ahllive.com. The video broadcasts are $6 per game, and a full-season pass can be purchased for $140. Also once again this year, fans can listen to just the audio portion of all games free of charge at Phantomshockey.com.
