GET YOUR R.J. UMBERGER BOBBLEHEAD

On Friday, the Phantoms will honor R.J. Umberger with a bobblehead distributed to the first 4,000 fans courtesy of Comcast! Umberger played for the Phantoms during the 2004-05 season and helped the team to the Calder Cup championship. He shattered the Phantoms rookie scoring marks, posting 21 goals and 44 assists for 65 points during the campaign - all new franchise records - while appearing in all 80 games. He then started the 2005-06 season with the Phantoms, but was recalled by the Flyers after eight games and never returned. Heading into this week, Umberger has 16 goals and 12 assists for 28 points in 74 games for the Flyers this season.

CULLEN NOMINATED FOR PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The Phantoms nominated Mark Cullen for CCM Vector/AHL Player of the Week consideration this week. Cullen posted four goals and two assists for six points in four games this week. He posted a four-point night on Friday vs. Springfield with a hat trick and an assist, and added a goal on Saturday at Hershey and an assist on Sunday vs. WBS.

PHANTOMS NOTABLES

Philadelphia's shutout loss on Wednesday vs. WBS was just its third shutout against this season. Prior to that night, this year's team was angling to join the 1996-97 and 2004-05 squads as the only teams in franchise history to be shut out just twice in a season. It comes after the Phantoms were shut out a franchise-record nine times in 2005-06... Left wing Riley Cote made his NHL debut on Saturday with the Flyers vs. the New York Islanders. Cote was +1 with four PIM... Darroll Powe recorded his first professional point with an assist on Sunday vs. WBS. Powe joined the Phantoms last week following his senior season at Princeton... On Sunday, Denis Tolpeko scored on his first shift back from an injury on March 16 that caused him to miss five games. He was hit in the ear with a puck and required 45 stitches.
