Youngstown Phantoms vs. Bloomington Thunder

YOUNGSTOWN, OH- The Youngstown Phantoms defeated the Bloomington Thunder by a final score of 4-2 Saturday night. New Phantoms bench boss John Wroblewski earned his first pair of USHL victories this weekend at the Covelli Centre.
"We addressed some things this week that I think we took care of, but we're by no means satisfied with where we are. We're happy with the two wins, but we have a lot of work left ahead," said Wroblewski.
After a 34-save performance last night by goaltender Colin DeAugustine, it was Ryan Bednard's turn to shut the door on Bloomington. Bednard finished with 37 saves on the evening.
Cam Morrison continued his goal scoring ways, finding the back of the net for the third time in as many games.
"Things are going well right now, and hopefully I can keep this up. I had great help from my line mates tonight," Morrison said.
Patrick Kramer got the Phantoms level with his first USHL goal with less than a minute left in the first period. Alex Esposito was able to record his first goal of the season on a penalty shot in the final minutes of the second period, giving Youngstown a lead they never relinquished.
The Phantoms will be back in action at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex next Saturday, October 10, in Cranberry, PA. Puck drop is set for 8:30p.m. against the Chicago Steel.
