Petgrave and Catenacci Picked for Subway Super Series

Owen Sound Attack News Release


The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that forward Daniel Catenacci and defenseman Matt Petgrave have been selected to participate on team OHL in the Sault Ste. Marie leg of the 2011 Subway Super Series on November 14th.

Catenacci, who spent his first two years in the Ontario Hockey League with Sault Ste. Marie is in his first season with the Owen Sound Attack after coming over in an off season transaction with the Greyhounds. In 15 games this season, the speedster has 18 points, 8 of which are goals. The 2011 3rd Round Pick of the Buffalo Sabres has 119 points in 147 career OHL Games.

Matt Petgrave is in his second year with the Attack sits 20th in Ontario Hockey League scoring and 2nd among OHL defenseman only to Dougie Hamilton of the Niagara Ice Dogs. The Brampton native attended the Canadian National Junior Team Evaluation camp in the summer and has collected 4 goals to go along with 12 assists so far this season.

Team OHL will be coached by former Owen Sound Plater, Scott Walker who earlier this fall was named an Assistant Coach for Canada's National Junior Team.

The Attack wishes to congratulate Daniel and Matt and wish them much success in representing the Attack and the City of Owen Sound in Sault Ste. Marie.
