Niagara IceDogs News Release

Four Niagara IceDogs have been chosen to represent the Ontario Hockey League against Team Russia at the 2011 Subway Super Series. The Ontario leg of the six-game series begins in Ottawa on Thursday, November 10th followed by Sault Ste. Marie on Monday, November 14th.

Forward Ryan Strome and defenceman Dougie Hamilton will play in both games, while goaltender Mark Visentin will draw in for the game in Ottawa and forward Freddie Hamilton will play in Sault Ste. Marie.

All four IceDogs are also on Team Canada's radar for the 2012 World Junior Championships in December. A good showing at the 2011 Subway Super Series may have a positive impact on their chance to represent their country.
