Owen Sound Attack News Release
Aside from playing yet another three games in three nights, the Attack will be very active in the Owen Sound and area community this week, supporting several initiatives while kicking off their annual Society of Energy Professionals Anti-Bullying School Tour.
The Attack will begin the busy week on Wednesday with a visit to Dawnview Public School in Hanover on Wednesday morning to speak to students about bullying in schools and the importance of being a good student, classmate and person. Dawnview Public School has been adopted by Jim and Laurie Hill of Arbour Hill Custom Furniture and Cabinetry, meaning that every student in the school will receive a ticket to a future Attack home game, compliments of Arbour Hill Custom Furniture and Cabinetry.
From Dawnview Public, the players will then travel to Paisley Central School for an Anti-Bullying visit, compliments of the Society of Energy Professionals. The Society of Energy Professionals provides tickets to students in over 10 schools in Bruce-Grey and Paisley Central is just the first school on the list of many.
"The Society of Energy Professionals is the key partner when it comes to our adopt a school program.", stated Brent Fisher, Attack Director of Marketing and Public Relations. "Investing in the areas youth, education and recreation are all very important to the Society of Energy Professionals and the adopt a school program is the perfect fit for them."
