Petes to Help Fans Fuel up at Pioneer Gas Stations Tonight

(Peterborough, ON)- The Petes are partnering with Ontario Hockey League sponsor Pioneer Energy for an event at Pioneer stations in Peterborough on Wednesday night from 5-7pm. Pioneer will be giving away gift cards, car wash vouchers, Pioneer merchandize and free samples. In addition, one lucky fan that Tweets a photo with their Petes Pioneer Bonus Bucks card could win a $50 gas card.

Peterborough Petes players will be interacting with fans at Pioneer stations throughout the community. Roger the mascot will spend time at each location from 5-7pm. Visits will include the following stations:

- 336 Lansdowne St. E. Peterborough | Josh Maguire and Matt Spencer

- 1781 Lansdowne St. W. (Peterborough) | Steve Lorentz and Eric Cornel

- 6868 Highway 7 (Springville) | Logan DeNoble and Hunter Garlent

At the beginning of the season, season ticket holders received exclusive Petes branded Pioneer Bonus Bucks cards, which can be used to collect points for free gas, snacks, drinks and merchandize.

On the ice, the Petes are tied for first place in the OHL after a successful opening weekend. Games continue this weekend against the Mississauga Steelheads on Thursday, October 1, on the road against Oshawa on Friday, and back home against Niagara on Saturday.
