
Petes to Continue Support of Movember on Thursday

(Peterborough, ON, November 27, 2014)- The Peterborough Petes are excited to announce that the team will continue to support Movember, helping Canadians and mustachios from around the world change the face of men's health.
Forward Matt McCartney and defenceman Cameron Lizotte have been captaining the Petes' Movember efforts, fundraising through the team's Mo Space .
During Thursday night's game against the Kitchener Rangers, fans can participate in a fundraising chuck-a-puck, with 100% of proceeds donated directly to the Petes Mo Space. The winner of the chuck-a-puck will earn an autographed Edmonton Oilers jersey. Chuck-a-pucks will be available in the North and East Lobbies, as well as the Mercedes-Benz Club Entrance.
Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer and other male cancers, and associated charities. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, housed at Movember.com . The goal of Movember is to "change the face of men's health." Other Petes players participating in Movember include Greg Betzold, Michael Clarke, Eric Cornel, Stephen Nosad, Nick Ritchie, and Steve Varga.
