
Petes Sink Steelheads to Close out Weekend

(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes earned five of six possible points this weekend after a 7-4 win over the Steelheads in Mississauga on Sunday afternoon.
Chris Paquette (17, 18) and Brady Hinz (12, 13) each scored twice for the Petes, while Liam Kirk (14), Nick Robertson (14), and Chad Denault (4) registered single tallies.
Adam Timleck and Ryan Merkley had two assists each. Kirk, Erik ?ermák, Semyon Der-Arguchintsev, and Max Grondin recorded single assists.
Hunter Jones stopped 43 of 46 shots in the win. The Petes were 3/7 on the power play and 5/5 on the penalty kill.
The Petes are back in action to kick off a three-game home stand on Thursday, January 10 at 7:05pm against the rival Oshawa Generals. Tickets are available through the Collins Barrow Box Office in person, over the phone at (705) 743-3561, and online.
