Petes Select Two Players in the 2021 U18 OHL Priority Selection

(Peterborough, ON) - Today, the Peterborough Petes selected Tyler Bono and Jaden Reyers in the 2021 OHL U18 Priority Selection.

With the 13th overall pick, the Petes selected forward Bono from the U18 Brockville Braves. The 6'5", 215 lbs from Stittsville, Ont., tallied 17 points (11 goals, six assists) in 45 games with the Braves during the 2019-20 season.

In the second round, 28th overall, the Petes selected Reyers, a 6'3", 200 lbs centreman. The London, Ont. native notched 18 points (four goals, 14 assists) in 33 games with the Kitchener Jr. Rangers in the 2019-20 season.

"We're excited to add two players to our prospect pool," commented General Manager Michael Oke. "Bono is a strong, physical player while Reyers plays with a high compete level along the boards."

The Petes will select a player during the CHL Import Draft on Wednesday, June 30.
