
Petes Select Igor Martynov in Second Round of CHL Import Draft

(Peterborough, ON) - With the 83rd overall pick in the 2016 CHL Import Draft on Tuesday morning, Petes GM Michael Oke selected Igor Martynov from Belarus.
The 6'0", 181lbs forward played 34 games in the Belarus2 league in 2015/16, scoring 16 goals and 18 assists for 34 points with Dinamo-Raubichi. He also competed in the 2016 World U-18 Championship (Division I), scoring 4 goals in five games played as Belarus earned promotion to the top Division for 2017.
