Petes Going Plaid for United Way on Thursday

(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes will host the Oshawa Generals on Thursday, November 1 at 7:05pm at the Peterborough Memorial Centre for United Way's second annual Petes Plaid Night.

The game is proudly sponsored by Mark's, who will be giving fans the chance to win clothing in a first intermission 'Get Outfitted' race.

The Petes will wear special theme jerseys, featuring plaid elements, that will be auctioned online with proceeds benefitting United Way Peterborough and District. Other fundraising initiatives taking place at the game include a silent auction and a second intermission chuck-a-puck. Prizes available to be won include a Toronto Marlies ticket package and table tennis game.

The Petes look to even their season series against Oshawa, having gone 1-2 against the Generals so far this season.

Tickets for Thursday's game are available through the PMC Collins Barrow Box Office in person and over the phone Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 5:00pm, and 24 hours a day online.
