
Petes Fall to Sting in Final Meeting of the Season

(Peterborough, ON) - The Petes' winning streak came to an end on Thursday night while the Sting's was extended to four games as Peterborough fell 4-2 to Sarnia at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
Sarnia scored three times before Zach Gallant got the Petes on the board toward the end of the first period. After Sarnia added another tally in the second period, Nick Robertson scored in the third frame to bring the Petes within 2.
Declan Chisholm, Nick Robertson, and Semyon Der-Arguchintsev all recorded single assists. Chisholm's helper extended his point streak to 12 games, the longest current streak in the OHL.
Final shots were 43-25 in favour of the Petes, with Tye Austin making 21 saves.
The Petes were 1/3 on the power play and 1/4 on the penalty kill.
The Petes are back on home ice on Saturday, October 26 at 7:05pm to face the Mississauga Steelheads. The game is sponsored by Cogeco who will be handing out 2019-20 magnet schedules.
