
Petes Come Back in Kingston

(Peterborough, ON) - After earning a point against the league's best on home ice on Thursday, the Petes played to a second consecutive shootout and won 4-3 in Kingston on Friday night.
Nick Robertson (19) opened scoring early in the first before the Frontenacs scored three straight markers. Robertson (20) would score again before Liam Kirk (19) tied the game at 3 with 2:35 left to play.
Ryan Merkley collected two assists while Kirk, Zach Gallant, and Semyon Der-Arguchintsev registered single helpers.
Brady Hinz and Adam Timleck scored and Hunter Jones stopped three Frontenacs in the shootout to secure the win.
Final shots were 43-24 in favour of the Peterborough. The Petes were 2/3 on the power play and 3/5 on the penalty kill.
The Petes return to home ice on Thursday, February 14 at 7:05pm to host the Barrie Colts. Tickets are available through the Baker Tilly Box Office in person, over the phone at (705) 743-3561, and online.
