Niagara IceDogs News Release
St. Catharines, Ontario - The Niagara IceDogs have announced that Bob Janosz has been named the teams Goaltending Coach.
General Manager, Joey Burke was excited to announce the recent hire saying "We are thrilled with the addition of Bob to our staff today. Bob's pedigree in coaching at the professional level is second to none, and brings a level of professionalism and knowledge to our group that we are very excited about. He has worked closely with Stephen Dhillon in Buffalo for years, and is perfectly suited to join our group at this point in the season. We expect he will seamlessly transition into the role with a level of comfortability with our starter that sometimes can take months/years to accomplish. I know he is going to be a great fit here. I couldn't be more excited to welcome Bob to Niagara!"
A goaltending coach for over 20 years, Janosz has worked with the Buffalo Sabres, Florida Panthers and their AHL affiliates, as well as several current NHL goaltenders including Linus Ullmark, Craig Anderson and Jacob Markstrom.
