
Petes and CFB Trenton Partner to Support Military Family Resource Centre

(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes and Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Trenton have formed a unique partnership for the 2015/16 season that will support the Trenton MFRC (Military Family Resource Centre). The MFRC promotes and facilitates community based services that improve the quality of life for military families.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend a special team practice and community event this Saturday, October 31 at CFB Trenton. The Petes will take to the RCAF Flyers Arena for a public practice at 9:30am, at which kids will receive free Halloween candy. At 11:30am, the team will head across the road to Canex Mall for a team autograph signing and jersey unveiling ceremony with Wing Command.
The Petes will wear commemorative jerseys with a special 8 Wing design at their Remembrance Day game on November 10. Beginning during Saturday's event and ending at 6pm EST on Sunday, November 15, fans can bid on the commemorative jerseys in an online auction with proceeds going to the MFRC.
The full schedule for the event at CFB Trenton on Saturday, October 31 is as follows:
9:30-11am - Team practice (open to public) - RCAF Flyers Arena (240 RCAF Rd., Trenton, ON)
11:30-12:30pm - Team signing & jersey presentation - Canex Mall (across road from arena)
