
Sachkiw Named Head Therapist for Team Canada White at 2015 World U-17 Hockey Challenge

Barrie, ON - Colts Head Athletic Therapist & Equipment Manager Andrew Sachkiw will represent Canada at the 2015 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge serving as the Head Therapist for Team Canada White.
Sachkiw is currently in his fifth season with the Colts and will represent Canada internationally for the first time. He has spent time working with the York University Men's Varsity Basketball and Football teams, the Barrie Bay Cats of the IBL, and the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL before being hired on by the Barrie Colts in 2011.
The U-17 Hockey Challenge takes place from October 30th to November 7th , 2015 in
Dawson Creek and Fort St. John, B.C. The gold-medal game is Saturday, Nov. 7 in Dawson Creek at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT, and will be shown on TSN and RDS, Hockey Canada's official broadcasters, along with the bronze-medal game and the semi- final played in Dawson Creek. All other tournament games, including 12 preliminary- round games, four quarter-finals, two placement games and the semifinal played in Fort St. John, will be available live through FASTHockey webcasts at www.hockeycanada.ca/wu17.
