Peterborough Doubles up IceDogs

Tonight, the Niagara IceDogs were back at home facing off against the Peterborough Petes.

Juan Copeland opened up the scoring for the night, tallying his 7th of the season. The Petes quickly got one back. However, Niagara took advantage of their power plays and scored another 2. One from Daniel Michaud and another from Copeland.

After 20 minutes, the score sat at 3-1 in favour of the IceDogs.

The Petes tallied 4 goals in the second period, taking the lead and making it 5-3 after 40 minutes.

The IceDogs pulled their goalie late in the third in a comeback attempt and the Petes scored on the empty net.

Ultimately, the Petes took the win 6-3.
