Pete Rose to throw out first pitch at Freedom game

The Florence Freedom is proud to announce that Pete Rose will be throwing out the first pitch for the July 21, 2004 home game. His visit is not only for the fans of the Freedom, but he is taking time out of his busy schedule to visit and mentor the Freedom team.
Tickets are on sale now at Champion Windows Field and can only be purchased by coming to the stadium box office from 9am until 5pm, Monday through Friday. Tickets for this event cannot be purchased during any Florence Freedom home game prior to August 21, 2004. Stadium seating will be at the normal price of $6-$9, upper deck open seating is $25/person, and each suite box will be sold for $1,000 and accommodate 12 people. There will be no alterations to admission or any of the above information regarding ticket sales. No group rates will be honored on this date. Due to Mr. Rose's appearance, the promotional schedule for the Freedom will be altered. The Bladder Bust will move to August 25, 2004 and more information regarding this promotion will be posted at a later date.
