Edenton Steamers News Release
EDENTON, NC - The Edenton Steamers of the Coastal Plain League announce that their scheduled game tonight against the Peninsula Pilots at Historic Hicks Field has been cancelled due to bad field conditions as a result of rain from last night and this morning.
The game will be played as part of a double header against the Pilots on Saturday July 9th at Historic Hicks Field. The time for the first game is yet to be determined by the Coastal Plain League.
The Steamers look to stay undefeated in the second half of the CPL season. Tonight's game would have been the first time the Pilots and the Steamers met in the second half.
