FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville SwampDogs game against the Wilmington Sharks on Wednesday was postponed because of rain and lightning. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader next Monday, July 11, beginning at 6:05 p.m.
Fayetteville (21-11) remains at home to host Florence on Thursday for their annual Summertime St. Patrick's Day game. The first 500 fans through the gates will receive a free pint glass courtesy of Yuengling and Healy Wholesale. Gates will open at 6 p.m., with first pitch set for 7:05 p.m.
