SwampDogs Home Finale Converted to Skills Challenge
August 3, 2018 - Coastal Plain League (Coastal Plain)
Fayetteville SwampDogs News Release
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Due to inclement weather and unsafe playing conditions, tonight's game against the Peninsula Pilots has been cancelled.
The SwampDogs will still be celebrating Fan Appreciation Night with a fun-filled skills challenge in place of tonight's game. Fayetteville's team will be putting on a true show featuring a Home Run Derby, direct player access and of course the summer's final fireworks extravaganza!
Fans who have already purchased tickets for tonight's game can use them for this exciting evening or redeem them for the first home game next season. They will also be redeemable for any home playoff game should one arise next week. Fountain drinks will be free until 7 p.m. for all those in attendance tonight, and the first 500 fans will receive free 3D glasses to watch the fireworks courtesy of Linda Devore for N.C. House 44.
