Fri., Nov. 7 - PENGUINS 3 vs. Hershey 2 (OT)
With W-B/Scranton down by one and less than a minute left in regulation, Jayson Megna knotted the match with the extra-attacker goal before potting the game-winner at 1:01 of overtime to help the Penguins shock the Bears, 3-2
Sat., Nov. 8 - Penguins 6 at BINGHAMTON 4
Four rookie forwards found the back of the net - including Bryan Rust notching his second two-goal game of the season - as the Penguins skated to a 6-4 win over the Senators.
Sun., Nov. 9 - PENGUINS 5 vs. Syracuse 4 (OT)
Jean-Sebastien Dea scored his second OT game-winner of the year and W-B/Scranton fended off a Crunch rally to take the 5-4 victory. Megna also tallied two goals in the contest.
The Week Ahead
Fri., Nov. 14 - PENGUINS vs. Lehigh Valley
The Phantoms (5-5-1-0) have lost five out of their last six games and are in third place in the division. Scott Laughton is tied for second among AHL rookies with five goals.
Sat., Nov. 15 - PENGUINS vs. Syracuse
With points in four straight matches (2-0-2-0), the Crunch have rebounded from a three-game losing streak and are now in fourth place in the Northeast with a record of 5-4-3-0. The Crunch have outscored teams, 16-9, in the third period.
Sun., Nov. 16 - Penguins at HERSHEY
The Bears suffered their first home loss of the season on Sunday, falling to Hartford, 3-2. Hershey (7-5-1) is in second place in the East, two points behind the Penguins. Kris Newbury is tied for first in the AHL with 18 points (8G-10A).
Ice Chips
- Playing in 500th pro and 300th AHL game on Saturday and against the team with whom he began his pro career in 2006- 07, Andrew Ebbett picked up the game-winning goal in a 6-4 win versus the Binghamton Senators.
- Beau Bennett set a career-high with four assists on Saturday against Syracuse. It was the most for a Penguins player since Ben Street recorded four assists on Nov. 11, 2011 at Hershey.
- Both of Jean-Sebastien Dea's game-winning goals have come in overtime. He is tied for the team lead with Ebbett.
- The Penguins are 6-0-0-0 this season when Derrick Pouliot registers a point.
- Bryan Rust leads all first-year AHL players with six goals.
