Penguins recall forward Cam Paddock from Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins today recalled forward Cam Paddock from their ECHL affiliate, the Wheeling Nailers.

Paddock, 21, was assigned to the Nailers for the second time this season on November 30 and recorded one goal and six penalty minutes in seven games. Overall, he has recorded three goals and 19 penalty minutes in 11 games with the Nailers. Paddock is scoreless with four penalty minutes in 10 games with the Penguins this season.

The 6'1", 196-pound native of North Vancouver, B.C. was selected drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the fifth round (137th overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

The Penguins (14-7-4-3, 35 points; 2ND-Place, East Division) begin a four-game homestand tomorrow as they host former Penguin Tom Kostopoulos and the Manchester Monarchs (21-4-1-1-, 44 points; 1ST-Place, Atlantic Division) at 5:05 p.m. at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza.
