
Konopka scores twice in Ducks win over Road Runners

ANAHEIM, CA -- Zenon Konopka scored two goals and an assist to lead the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 5-2 victory over the Edmonton Road Runners Saturday at the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim.
Joffrey Lupul, Dustin Penner and Stanislav Chistov also scored for the Ducks, who scored five goals for the second time in their three games.
Frederic Cassivi made 32 saves in the win for Cincinnati, which has won two of its last three games.
Raffi Torres and Jason Platt scored for the Road Runners, who snapped a five-game road winning streak.
Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers surrendered four goals on 19 shots before being pulled in favor of Tyler Moss in the second period. stopped 16 of the 17 shots he faced in 28:21 minutes.
The game was played in front of a Cincinnati franchise-record crowd of 10,545.
