December 18, 2004 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Hershey Bears News Release
Despite missing seven players due to injuries or illness, the BEARS defeated the AHL's top team Saturday night at GIANT Center 3-2 in overtime.
Marek Svatos and Mathieu Darche scored goals during regulation to bring HERSHEY back from two different one-goal deficits before Perrin's heroics in overtime on the power play. Peter Budaj won his second game in as many nights, outdueling Manchester's Adam Hauser.
The BEARS look for three wins in a row Sunday as the Syracuse Crunch come to call at 5:00 p.m. A 2005 Dodge Dakota will be given away during second intermission to a lucky fan 18 years old or older.
