
Peluso Tallies Lone Wranglers' Goal

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers were defeated by the Alaska Aces 5-1 Friday night in front of 6,677 fans at the Orleans Arena. Alaska goalie Matt Underhill made 16 saves to win his league leading 33rd game of the season. Las Vegas winger Marco Peluso scored the only goal of the night for the Wranglers. Alaska forward Mike Scott scored two goals in the Aces win. Rookie winger Alex Leavitt scored a goal and added two assists in the game. The Wranglers will face the Alaska Aces Saturday night at 7:05pm at the Orleans Arena.
In the first period, Mike Scott scored his first goal of the game on the power play to give the Aces a 1-0 lead. Wranglers' forward Marco Peluso tied the game at one with 48-seconds left in the period.
Winger Vladimir Novak tallied for Alaska at 7:26 to give the Aces a 2-1 lead. Scott scored his second goal of the game at 19:21 to give the Aces the 3-1 lead after two periods.
In the third, Alex Leavit came off the end boards and slid the puck past Marc Magliarditi to give the Aces a 4-1 edge at 8:50. Center Kimbi Daniels scored the last goal of the game at 13:47 to give the Aces the 5-1 victory.
Playoff tickets are now available for the 2006 Kelly Cup Playoffs. Fans may purchase a strip of tickets that will include every home playoff game for as little as $200.00 per seat. Wranglers season ticket holders and mini-plan holders have the first right of refusal for their seats.

Fans may purchase seats to all Wranglers home games at any of the following ticket locations: The Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast, South Coast and Suncoast, or at the Galleria Mall guest relations/ticket centers.
