Pensacola Pelicans News Release
It was a wet night Thursday in Pensacola, but that didn't keep the Pelican faithful from attending the game between the Shreveport Sports and the Pelicans. A low scoring affair at Pelican Park kept the fans around until the 9th inning to watch Tony Pierce record his 18th save of the season, securing the Pelicans 3-2 victory. Juan Rocha hit his eighth homerun of the season to put the Pelicans ahead.
