
Pelicans to Honor Local Heroes

Pensacola Pelicans News Release
The Pensacola Pelicans are pleased to announce they will be recognizing the area's local police, fire, EMT, and other emergency staff on Heroes Day on Wed., July 8.
All Escambia, Santa Rosa, Baldwin, and Okaloosa County service men and women can receive a buy one $8 ticket get one free with a valid badge or ID.
Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan will be singing the National Anthem prior to the game and Escambia County Public Information Officer Sgt. Ted Roy will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.
Various emergency equipment, vehicles, and items will be on display for fans to get an up close view of.
Tickets are very affordable beginning at $7. Fans can purchase tickets in advance and print from home via the Pelicans website: www.pensacolapelicans.com. Additionally, fans can purchase tickets over the phone at (850) 934-8444 or at local Circle K locations.
