Pensacola Pelicans News Release

Pensacola's lead shrunk to a game over Fort Worth and a half-game over Shreveport after their 6-1 loss to Jackson. The Senators sailed after pulling ahead early, scoring three in the first on a C Gerard McCall home run and tacking on one more in the second. The Jackson offensive attack was also aided by 2B Josh Hoffpauir and SS Alex Llanos, who both went 3-for-4. Senators starter Rusty Camp pitched a gem for his fifth win of the season, allowing one run on four hits, striking out six in eight innings of work.
