Jorge Jimenez knocked an RBI single and Josh Reddick followed with a grand slam in the top of the tenth inning, leading the PawSox past Buffalo 8-3. The Sox took a 3-0 lead, scoring twice in the second inning on a base hit by Jack Hannahan. A sacrifice fly in the third by Lars Anderson made it 3-0.
Buffalo chipped away, scoring single runs in the fifth, sixth and eighth innings. The game was tied at 3-3 in the eighth on a solo homer by Valentino Pascucci. The homer came off eventual winner Robert Manuel (8-2).
The PawSox will start a four game series in Rochester on Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. Fabio Castro (5-9, 5.11) will face Mike Bromberg (1-2, 3.32).
