Friday's SWB Yankees Game Sold Out

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees News Release

Moosic, PA - The Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees and Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs game on Friday, August 27th at PNC Field is sold out. Following Friday's sellout vs. Lehigh Valley, the Yankees home stand at PNC Field continues, against the second place team in the International North, the Buffalo Bisons with a double header on Saturday night at 5:35 PM and a single game on Sunday night at 5:05 PM. Tickets remain for both games against the Yankees closest rival in the IL North standings.

Saturday night's double header vs. Buffalo begins at 5:35 PM and will feature a pair of seven inning games, due to an August 12th rain out. All tickets for Saturday night are good for both games against the second place Bisons. The Famous Chicken will make his lone appearance of the season at PNC Field on Saturday night and during the second game of the double header, Yankees players will wear special jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game benefitting the ALS Association. There will also be other items up for bid during a silent auction. Gates on Saturday night open at 4:30 PM and prior to the game, there is live music and $1 drafts on the Bud Light Bullpen.

Sunday's finale of the Yankees home stand features the third game of the three game series vs. Buffalo with gates opening at 4:00 PM. Following the ball game, kids 12 and under are invited to participate in the Yankees "fun run" with a post game sprint around the bases at PNC Field.
