The fifth-place IronPigs (52-78) play the finale of a mini two-game series against the third-place Syracuse Chiefs (66-63) -- Washington's top affiliate. With a 5-4 loss last night, the Pigs fell to 2-2 on this current five-game, Northern Division homestand. Though they have gone 6-4 in their last 10 games, the Pigs are just 8-20 in their last 28 affairs after winning a season-best six of seven, July 19-25... Syracuse won for the first time since Friday, but has still dumped four of its last six games. Once 54-43 on July 20, the Chiefs have gone 12-20 in their last 32 affairs. In fact, since they last played in LHV on July 2, the Chiefs have gone from first place in the North Division to third place and 11.5 GB.

LHP Brian Mazone (6-12, 3.86) will start for LHV against RHP Shairon Martis (7-7, 4.42).

First-pitch is at 7:05 p.m. for IronPigs Adult Football Cap Night, presented by Harvey Building Products.
