Gwinnett Stripers News Release

The Gwinnett Braves and Gwinnett Medical Center (GMC) have teamed up for the second consecutive year to offer fans the rare opportunity to win a player's jersey right off his back following the game on Friday, August 27th against Durham at 7:05 p.m. This year's jersey is a Braves throwback with the Crackers logo inscribed on the front.

On "Jersey Off Your Back Night" at Coolray Field, fans can place silent auction bids for their favorite player's jersey from the time the gates open at 5:30 p.m. until the end of the fifth inning (minimum bid is $100). All proceeds benefit the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation. GMC will also be participating in the G-Braves' 50-50 raffle on August 27th. In 2009, the jersey auction and 50/50 raffle combined to raise over $6400 for the Foundation.

The Gwinnett Braves are the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. All Gwinnett Braves 2010 ticket packages and individual tickets are available at gwinnettbraves.com, the Coolray Field Box Office and by calling (678) 277-0340.
