The PawSox wrapped up the 2010 season on a high note, taking the last game of the year from Syracuse, 4-3. 8011 were on hand to see Josh Reddick hit his 18th home run of the season. Reddick hit .266 with 65 rbi. Reddick also doubled. Gil Velazquez and James Kang knocked in the other Pawtucket runs.
Ramon Ramirez (5-5) was the winner, working 5.2 innings, striking out 7 hitters. Fernando Cabrera picked up his 22d save with a scoreless ninth inning.
Jason Varitek completed his rehab assignment with Pawtucket, going 1-3. He should rejoin Boston for their series with Tampa. Early in the day, Lars Anderson earned a promotion to Boston.
The PawSox complete 2010 with a record of 66-78, in fourth place in the I.L. North Division.
