Pats to Make Two Selections in CHL Import Draft

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats Hockey Club and the rest of the CHL will take part in the 2018 CHL Import Draft on Thursday, June 28.

The Pats hold the 47th overall pick in the first round and the 107th pick in the second round.

Libor Hajek is expected to turn pro with the New York Rangers and Emil Oksanen has signed in the Finnish Liiga so the Pats will make two selections on Thursday.

Recent Pats CHL Import Picks:

2017: Egor Zamula (60th overall). Emil Oksanen (120th overall).

2016: Filip Ahl, 1st round (31st overall).

2015: Nikolai Knyzhov, 1st round (41st overall).

2014: Sergey Zborovskiy, 1st round (39th overall).

2013: Dmitry Sinitsyn, 1st round (16th overall). Maximillian Kammerer, 2nd round (76th overall).

2012: Emil Sylvegard, 1st round (32nd overall).

2011: Dominic Volek, 1st round (9th overall).

The draft will begin at 9 a.m. Regina time.
