Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats (20-21-3-4) lost 4-0 to the East Division leading Brandon Wheat Kings (30-13-2-2) at the Brandt Centre before 4243 fans on Sunday afternoon.

Game Story

- The Brandon Wheat Kings got three points from Jayce Hawryluk (2G, 1A) en route to a 4-0 victory over the host Regina Pats. Both of Hawryluk's goals came in the first including one on the power play. The Pats outshot Brandon 12-10 in the opening frame but could not convert any of their opportunities. The only goal of the second came on a drop pass out in front of the Pats net from Jayce Hawryluk to Tyler Coulter who beat Tyler Brown. The best chance for the Pats came in the third when Adam Brooks fed Austin Wagner with a long pass after leaving the penalty box for serving two minutes for hooking. Wagner was stopped on the breakaway by the Wheat Kings goaltender Jordan Papirny. Brandon would add a late goal to make it 4-0 Brandon.

The Regina Pats play their third straight game on home ice when they host the Saskatoon Blades in a Friday night affair at the Brandt Centre, on January 29.
