
Pats Announce Details for Indigenous Celebration Night on February 10 vs. Edmonton

Regina, Sask. - The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce, in partnership with George Gordon Developments LTD, the organization will host its annual Indigenous Celebration Night in support of the Orange Jersey Project this Saturday, February 10 when the Edmonton Oil Kings visit the Brandt Centre.
Saturday's game will showcase Indigenous Culture throughout the night and acknowledge the relationship we share with all Indigenous peoples in the Treaty Four Territory.
The Pats will be wearing special-edition orange jerseys as part of their Indigenous Celebration Night, available for purchase through online auction, with 100% of net proceeds donated to the Orange Jersey Project.
Chief Bitternosse of George Gordon First Nation along with George Gordon Developments executives will be in honoured in a pre-game ceremony, as well as three First Nation Flag Bearers and a seventh skater.
Clarence Iron will join Pats play-by-play voice Dante De Caria on the broadcast on 620 CKRM, providing colour commentary and analysis in Cree. Additionally, Irvin Montana will join public address announcer Darren Szabo announcing in arena in Cree throughout the game.
Additionally, there will be an intermission drum, dance and singing performance by George Gordon First Nation.
