
Pats Acquire Scott Mahovlich from the Kamloops Blazers

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats Hockey Club has acquired 18-year-old forward Scott Mahovlich from the Kamloops Blazers in exchange for a seventh round pick in 2018.
Mahovlich (6'2, 187) is playing in his second full season in the WHL, last year with the Blazers he scored one goal and had four assists in 48 games. The Abbotsford, B.C. product has one assist through 14 games this year with Kamloops.
"We are excited to add Scott to our team," said Pats Head Coach and GM John Paddock. "He is a big body forward and a right handed shot that will add to our depth up front."
Mahovlich was listed by the Blazers in 2016, he played his minor hockey at the Yale Hockey Academy in Abbotsford and won a CSSHL Championship in 2014-15.
The Pats are back in action on Friday night in Red Deer against the Rebels. Next home game is December 8 against the Kelowna Rockets on Teddy Bear Toss Night.
