Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have traded 18-year-old forward Scott Mahovlich to the Regina Pats in exchange for a seventh round WHL Bantam Draft pick in 2018.

The Abbotsford, BC native suited up for 62 career games with the Blazers and recorded a goal and six points along with 44 penalty minutes.

"This transaction will give Scott a chance to play for a Memorial Cup in Regina," commented General Manager, Stu MacGregor. "It will also give more opportunity to our younger forwards. We'd like to thank Scott for his time with the Blazers and wish him luck with Regina."

The Blazers roster now sits at 23 players including two goaltenders, eight defensemen and 13 forwards.
