
Patriots Shut out Barnstormers 2-0

Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots defeated the Lancaster Barnstormers 2-0 at TD Bank Ballpark on Thursday evening.
The Patriots scored two runs in the fourth on an RBI single by Jeff Baisley and a bases loaded walk to Adam Donachie for the 2-0 lead.
Patriots starter Josh Lowey (8-5) got the win after tossing seven scoreless innings and striking out three. Lenny DiNardo (4-6) suffered the loss, surrendering two runs on seven hits in 7.2 innings pitched. Jon Hunton came on to pitch a scoreless ninth inning to pick up his 21st save of the season.
The 2013 Somerset Patriots season presented by Ford will continue at home on Friday night when they take on the Lancaster Barnstormers at 7:05 pm.
