
Party on the Pavilion

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa â Baseball fans will be treated to a "Party on the Pavilion'' on Sunday and Monday when the Randy Kuehl Honfidence Pavilion is opened up to the public. The Kernels play the Lansing Lugnuts each day at 2 p.m.
Fans can purchase a $21 ticket for the pavilion and enjoy all the food and beverage they can consume, starting one hour before game time through the seventh inning.
Existing ticket-holders can upgrade their tickets for the Pavilion for these two dates.
Tickets also may be ordered online through the Kernels Bimm-Ridder Diamond Shop. Existing tickets may not be upgraded through the on-line store.
The Lugnuts are affiliated with the Chicago Cubs. Former major league All-Star Ryan Dempster is scheduled to pitch for Lansing on Monday. He is recovering from elbow surgery and is scheduled to pitch three innings or 45 pitches. He will be opposed by Kernels southpaw Micah Posey (6-0).
