Moosic, Pa. - Chris Parmelee's third hit of the day was the biggest for the SWB RailRiders (Triple-A/ New York Yankees) as it flew over the right field wall to bring instant victory at PNC Field. The RailRiders (16-14) rallied for an 8-7, 10-inning victory against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (14-14).

Conor Mullee (3-0) worked around two hits and two walks over three innings to keep the IronPigs off the scoreboard for the win. Reinier Roibal (0-1) shouldered his first Triple-A loss of the year after surrendering the winning hit to Parmelee.

The IronPigs jumped in front on a Brock Stassi homer in the second inning, but Gary Sanchez doubled home Donovan Solano to tie the score in the third. Deibinson Romero followed with a single, scoring Sanchez for a 2-1 SWB advantage.

Lehigh Valley struck for three runs in the top of the fourth, chasing starter Brady Lail from the game with two out. Will Venable highlighted the frame with a two-run double to give the IronPigs a 4-2 lead.

Sanchez drew the RailRiders within one at 4-3 when he clubbed a two-out missile over the right field wall. It was his fifth of the year.

Venable's big day for Lehigh Valley continued with a three-run blast off of reliever Tyler Olson in the sixth.

Trailing 7-3, the RailRiders went to work. Rob Refsnyder singled passed third baseman Taylor Featherston and raced to third on a double by Parmelee. Cesar Puello trimmed the deficit to 7-5 by scoring both runners on a double to left-center. A Solano sacrifice fly to right brought home Puello, slicing the IronPigs' lead to one at 7-6.

Refsnyder and Puello teamed for a pair of two-baggers in the eighth to square the game at 7-7 and Parmelee capped the rally with his one-out homer in the bottom of the 10th.

The RailRiders host the IronPigs for the second game of the short set on Sunday at 1:05 p.m. Right-hander Luis Cessa (0-0, 3.86) is scheduled to face right-hander David Buchanan (0-2, 4.94). The RailRiders will celebrate Mother's Day with "Pampering at the Park" and a stemless wine glass giveaway to the first 1,000 mothers into the park, courtesy the Scranton Times.
