Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will go for their second straight win over the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders on Saturday afternoon. First pitch from PNC Field in Moosic is slated for 4:05 p.m.

RHP Zach Eflin (3-0, 2.05) will be on the bump for the IronPigs after being scratched from his start on Wednesday due to weather. Eflin's last outing came on April 27 at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre when he earned the win after giving up four hits while walking one and fanning six over 6.1 IP. The right-hander currently leads the International League in WHIP (0.76) and ranks 10th in ERA.

RHP Luis Cessa (0-0, 3.86) gets the ball for the RailRiders on Saturday afternoon. Cessa got a no-decision on Monday at Buffalo when he allowed three runs on four hits while walking three and fanning a pair over 5.0 IP. Back on April 26 vs. the IronPigs, Cessa gave up two runs on four hits to go along with a walk and two strikeouts over 5.1 IP in a no-decision.

After a three-hit game on Friday, Pigs 1B Tommy Joseph now leads the IL in hitting (.375) and slugging percentage (.681). Joseph is also T-3rd in HR (5) and XBH (12). This story was not subject to the approval of the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues or its clubs.
