
Panthers Send Markstrom and Repik to San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO (November 28, 2011) - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that goaltender Jacob Markstrom and right wing Michal Repik have been reassigned to San Antonio (AHL).
Markstrom, 21, has played in six games with the Panthers this season going 2-3-1 with a .928 save percentage. The Gavle, Sweden native has posted a 2-3-0 record with the San Antonio Rampage this year. Markstrom was drafted by Florida in the first round (31st overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
Repik, 22, has played in five games with Florida this season registering no points and two PIM. The Vlasim, Czech Republic native has appeared in 14 games with the San Antonio Rampage this season registering nine points (2-7-9). Repik was drafted by Florida with their second choice (40th overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
The Rampage will play a home-and-home series this Friday and Saturday against the Oklahoma City Barons. On Friday, the team will travel to Oklahoma City for a matchup against the Barons at 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center. The Rampage return home on Saturday to host Oklahoma City at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
