Canadiens Recall Louis Leblanc from Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QUE (November 28, 2011) - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Pierre Gauthier announced tonight that forward Louis Leblanc has been recalled from the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Leblanc, 20, has played in 14 games for Hamilton this season and is tied for second on the team with ten points (4 goals, 6 assists) while registering two power play goals and 48 shots on goal. The 6-foot, 184-pound forward played in 51 games with the Montreal Junior of the QMJHL in 2010-2011, posting 58 points (26 goals, 32 assists) and 100 penalty minutes. The native of Pointe-Claire, Quebec was drafted by the Canadiens in the first round, 18th overall in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and signed an entry-level contract on July 30, 2010.

The Hamilton Bulldogs' next game is scheduled for Friday, December 2nd, 2011 when they will host the St. John's IceCaps at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum.
