NORTHERN CONFERENCE ADVENTURE: Indy's five-game road swing yielded a 1-1-1 record after the first weekend with a loss and shootout loss to the Memphis RiverKings on Friday and Saturday and a come-from-behind victory over the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs early Sunday evening. Indy's lead in the Northern Conference remains at a comfortable ten-point margin while the team holds a ten-point advantage on Memphis in the Northeast Division. Four games in five nights await the Icemen this week as the team has road games in Tulsa, Memphis and Wichita and the big "Pack the House" game on Saturday versus Memphis from Conseco Fieldhouse.

"PACK THE HOUSE" ONCE AGAIN: "Pack the House Night" is this Saturday night when the team hosts the Memphis RiverKings at 7:00 p.m. from Conseco Fieldhouse. This year's "Pack the House" groups include The Junior Ice youth hockey program, The Indiana Mitochondrial Support Group and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Last year's event set a then CHL record for attendance with 14,324 fans.

ON THE VERGE: Centerman Kevin St. Jacques and all-star goaltender Shawn Silver are on the verge of a couple significant milestones. St. Jacques, who leads the Ice in scoring with 63 points on the year, is one point shy of 800 for his pro career. Silver, who stopped 39 shots in Sunday's victory over the Mudbugs, is currently tied with former Ice netminder Benoit Thibert (1999-00) for most wins in a single season by a CHL Ice goaltender with 27. Jimmy Waite's 34 wins during the 1989-90 Turner Cup Championship year is the franchise record.

HOT STICKS: Andrew Taylor has four assists in his last two games....Jared Dumba has three goals in his last two games and registered his team-leading seventh multiple goal game over the weekend...Jason Baird has three points (1G, 2A) in his last two games...Nate Elliott has two goals in his last three games...Shawn Silver remains second in the CHL in wins (27), GAA (1.91) and save percentage (.929)...Silver is also 19-3-0 with a 1.95 GAA and a .925 save percentage in his last 23 outings...Bernie John is second among CHL blueliners in points (54) and assists (42).

TEAM NOTES: The Ice is 7-2-1 in its last ten games and 17-3-2 in the year 2003...Indy has only two regulation losses at home this year which is tops in the CHL...The Ice is second in the CHL in road wins (15)...Indy has one regulation loss all season against the Northwest Division (Ok. City, Tulsa, Amarillo, Wichita) and plays Tulsa (4-1-2) and Wichita (9-0-1) this week...Indy is now 4-4-1 this year against Memphis.

PARSONS LEADS "KINGS" TO 4-1 WIN OVER ICE

* Don Parson's four-point night (3G, 1A) was too much for the Ice to overcome...Nate Elliott tallied the Ice's lone goal while Shawn Silver had 19 saves in net.

MEMPHIS UPENDS ICE IN SHOOTOUT 4-3

* A see-saw affair saw the "Kings" finally win with two goals in the shootout...Scoring goals for Indy were Jason Baird, Bryce Classen and Jared Dumba, while Jamie Morris stopped 33 shots between the pipes.

FOUR UNANSWERED GOALS LEAD ICE PAST "BUGS" 4-2

* Indy came back from a 2-0 deficit to score four unanswered goals to gain a huge road victory..."Back of the Net" reachers included Jared Dumba (2), Kevin St. Jacques and Nate Elliott...Shawn Silver was solid in net with 39 saves.
