Potomac Nationals News Release

Zebulon, NC-After torrential rainfall blanketed the Five County Stadium diamond this afternoon amidst a strong band of thunderstorms and a bleak forecast for this evening, the scheduled series opener between the Potomac Nationals (36-25) and Carolina Mudcats (20-42) has been postponed.

Tuesday, June 11th will usher in a doubleheader with Game One beginning at 5:00pm and the second contest will not begin prior to 7:15pm.

Both ballgames that make up the twin bill will be scheduled for seven innings.

The starting pitching matchups for this series are now to be determined as the result of the postponement of Game One.

The Potomac Nationals Baseball Network will begin streaming with the P-Nats Baseball Lead-Off Show at 4:45pm in preparation for the live play-by-play at 5:00pm. Broadcast coverage of Potomac Nationals Baseball is streamed live at www.potomacnationals.com.
